A GUIDE TO CONTENT RICHES: MAKING TOP-NOTCH, PROFITABLE CONTENT
Everyone wants and needs to make money. Since the rise of the Internet, blogging has become a great way to do just that. All you have to do is start posting articles and content about anything you’re passionate about. You can talk about anything from travel to your favorite books.
Advertising products from other companies is a popular way to monetize your blog. You can earn either every time a person clicks on the ad you’ve placed in your blog or every time someone views the ad in your blog. So, to run a successful and profitable blog, you have to make sure that people view that blog and read what you have to say. The big question is, how do you get people to view your blog? How do you grab the attention of your readers? Writing profitable content isn’t as difficult as people make it out to be. Here’s a guide to making top-notch content to help you out.
7 Steps to Creating Profitable and Great Content
A lot of people find that creating great content is difficult. Here’s the thing. It isn’t. Not if you use these 7 steps to creating great content.
Let’s be real. For most people, writing 3,000-word essays isn’t fun. Because we all know that writing is more than just writing down a bunch of words to form a barely cohesive sentence. Writing requires planning. Good writing requires technique. Well then, it’s a good thing there’s a simple way we can make writing easier. We read.
Believe it or not, the more you read, the easier writing gets. Reading widens your vocabulary. Writing down what you think comes easier because reading helps you express your thoughts into cohesive sentences and paragraphs. After all, writing is 80% reading and 20% typing. And I haven’t heard anything truer.
Say you’ve got the writing part down. You now know how to write and how to form essays and sentences that make sense. You can start writing! But first, what do you want to write about? You’ve got to start brainstorming and think of great topics that you think people will want to read about. It could be about anything! Writing profitable content depends on the topic you want to write about. Don’t worry about being organized. Just jot down everything that comes to mind from random keywords and phrases to a solid topic. Once you’ve done that, choose what topic you like the most and go with it.
Once you’ve finished choosing a topic, it’s time to build and organize your article or essay. Think of it as human anatomy. You can’t just have skin. You need to have a skeleton where and bones that allow you to move.
In a similar sense, before you can just start writing about the topic, you need to structure it out and organize everything. You could create a table of contents so your reader can easily find what they want to seek. You could differentiate what you want to write about in your introduction, body, and conclusion. Outlining can help you write the article easily because you have a set format to follow.
This might be the step that takes the most effort. This is when you put meat into the bones, meaning into the structure. In this portion, you start explaining everything you want to explain.
For instance, if you’re talking about the top 10 tourist destinations around the world, the drafting phase is when you describe each destination. You could explain how you get there, how much the tickets cost. Among the 7 steps, drafting is one of the most important steps to take.
Once you have your draft, you have to proofread. Make sure that everything you’ve written down is correct and accurate. You do not want to misinform your readers. This can make them lost their trust in you and stop reading your blogs. Check your grammar. Check for lengthy sentences. Make sure everything is near perfect.
Say you’ve finished proofreading but you see some mistakes. The editing stage is when you fix those mistakes. Are there lengthy sentences that discourage the viewer from reading? Are there grammatical errors?
You’re nearly there! So close to the finish line. Now, you can finally publish your finished article. If every piece of information is correct and everything is perfect, you can publish your article for all to see. This is the easiest part of the process. All you’ve got to do is click publish to post your content to the site. Once that’s finished, kick off your shoes, stretch those muscles, sit back and relax. You’ve done it! You’ve created top-notch content. Well done!
What else can you do to create good content?
Now, once the business is booming and your blog has taken off, you can start outsourcing. Outsourcing is hiring other writers to produce top-notch content for you. Find writers through websites such as Fiverr, Upwork, WriterAccess, and PeoplePerHour. These are trustworthy websites where you can hire experienced freelance writers at different rates. These writers know how to write good content. Once you’ve hired writers, just give them a topic and let them do their job. Read through their written article and publish it if you are satisfied. Say goodbye to the other 6 steps. Because once you’ve outsourced, all you’ve got to do is publish the written article.
What if I get backlashed because of what I write?
You can never avoid people who will dislike what you do. It’s inevitable, as Thanos would say. Getting backlash for what you write is unavoidable. However, you’ve got to power through. It doesn’t matter what they say. People are more audacious because they are hidden behind a computer screen. If you know that what you write is truthful and what you do is honest, what’s there to be afraid of? Absolutely nothing.
The tough reality is that nothing is easy. If it were easy, everybody would be doing it. As I’ve stated above, it is always better to read and widen your vocabulary. That is a sure way to better your writing technique and it’ll make the writing process easier. Nothing worth your while comes easy.
Blogs? Count me in! They’re great ways to earn money. However, running a successful blog isn’t easy. You need to be able to publish great content that you think viewers would want to read. Follow the 7 steps I’ve mentioned above to learn how to write good content. Writing profitable content is just within your reach.
